This boutique hotel is located in downtown Seneca above Papa Julio’s restaurant. The hotel has six private bedrooms that each have a luxurious private bathroom. The layout is a unique lodging property for Oconee County, as the rooms share a comfortable and spacious common area.
Guests can choose from rooms that accommodate various group sizes. A couple of rooms have either a single king or queen-sized bed; while other rooms have two king-sized beds or one king bed with a queen-sized bed; or two queen-sized bed combinations. An Executive Suite features a king and queen bed, a living area and a bar.
The owner of The Lofts On Townville also owns Shipley’s Furniture. He has decorated the entire place with lavish furnishings from his store along with 65″ flatscreen televisions in each of the rooms.
The Lofts are located on the second floor of an historic building that once housed the Richardson Theater. The owner of the building, David Shipley, was able to find several vintage photographs depicting the downtown district as it looked when the Richardson Theater was operational.
The Lofts are housed in the spacious second story above Papa Julio’s restaurant. The entire floor was recently renovated to give each room a modern feel while keeping historic elements original to the building. The location is ideal for guests attending weddings nearby at Crown and Crest event venue, and is also popular with fans in town for Clemson Football Games. The shared common space allows friends to stay in the same building while offering private sleeping areas. Although the Lofts are great for groups who know each other, they are also very private and pleasant for strangers to share.
