Brasstown Falls
Four falls ranging from 20ft. to 40ft. The trail to the right is a difficult and dangerous hike, not for novice hikers. Requires climbing down an unmarked but worn trail; crossing through a narrow, shallow stream; then short walk to falls. The left trail is a more family friendly short hike. Chattooga Trail
15.5 mile trail that runs parallel to the famous Chattooga River, and shares 8.5 miles with the Foothills Trail. It passes through some of the finest wilderness in South Carolina. The northern terminus of the Chattooga Trail is Ellicott Rock, where Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina meet. Waterfall lovers shouldn’t miss this trail, since you can see King Creek, Spoonauger, Big Bend, Pigpen and Licklog Falls at points along the trail.

Goldfinch Treehouse
Sleep in the trees at Wildwater's Chattooga birdhouse. It's a cozy one-bedroom, one bathroom space that sleeps 2 people. It has a kitchenette, private outdoor deck, large flat screen TV, DVD player and DVDs.

Humble Pie

Lake Tugalo
This little known 575-acre lake in the mountainous region of Oconee County is fed by the Chattooga and Tallulah Rivers. Backed up by the Tugalo dam, the lake is a peaceful spot to paddle and a great place for fishermen. Motorboat access to the lake is restricted to motors below 20 hp, ensuring a peaceful outing. Several small waterfalls tumble into this scenic lake, which is surrounded by the forest covered foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Long Creek Falls
A 50-foot waterfall on its namesake creek just before it flows into the Chattooga River. The 1.6 mile unofficial trail is moderately difficult and not well-marked. The last 150 ft. is very steep making it a challenge to climb out. GPS coordinates to parking area: N 34.77767 W 083.31212. Paddlers and rafters going down the Chattooga River can view this waterfall from the water.

Moresun Bunkhouse
A great option when groups want to stay and play in Long Creek. The area is a destination for outdoor adventure, but lodging is limited. Moresun Bunkhouse offers group lodging for 12 people. Recently renovated vacation rental home with clean, comfortable accommodations. This is an ideal location for people coming to play on the Chattooga River, go mountain biking at Stumphouse Park, hike to area waterfalls, attend weddings and events at Chattooga Belle Farm, or any reason you're in town!

Mountain Rental Cabins
Five new vacation rentals at Wildwater's Chattooga River location. Four cabins sleep up to six people, with two comfortable bedrooms and two baths. Goldfinch treehouse is a cozy one-bedroom, one-bath space that includes a kitchenette and a private outdoor deck.

Opossum Creek Falls
The two-hour hike to this 50-ft. cascade is not dangerous, but quite strenuous. Nice picnic area and swimming in the Chattooga River. The Chicken Coop
The "Chicken Coop" is a one-bedroom, one bath tiny home located on Chattooga Belle Farm property. Enjoy a respite from the hectic times, as you relax near Horseshoe Lake. Chattooga Belle Farm is a 190 acre u-pick fruit farm, with event barn, Belle's Bistro serving lunch 11-2, and distillery on premises.

Wildwater Group Yurts
Steps away from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center, 5 yurts sleep up to 34 people. Rent one or rent them all. Amenities: bunk beds, ceiling fans, large outside decks, picnic tables, power, lights and small heaters. Commons Building has indoor kitchen, 6 bathrooms with private showers, screened dining room, charcoal grill and fire pit.

Wildwater’s Cottages
A convenient place to stay when you visit the Chattooga River. Nestled on the edge of the woods, overlooking the Wildwater pond and steps away from the Chattooga Rafting Center. Double futon and loft with twin beds, deck and a waterfall shower. Two duplex cottages available.
