Chauga Rapids Course
Chau Ram County Park, Westminster
For adventurous players, Chauga Rapids Disc Golf Course is a must-play. Set within the rugged terrain of Chau Ram County Park, this 18-hole layout is a hike as much as a round of disc golf. Steep elevation changes, tight wooded fairways, and sweeping overlooks make each throw both physically demanding and visually rewarding.
The course was designed by Gary Savercool. It opened in 2021 and was carefully laid out to highlight the park’s natural features. Multiple tee pads and pin placements keep the course fresh for repeat play, while the surrounding park offers hiking trails, camping, and the beautiful Chauga River to explore after your round.Â

How to get there: Access the course from N. Horseshoe Bridge Road (off of Hwy. 76). The gate will be closed if it’s raining.

Shaver Recreation Center
Seneca
If variety is what you’re after, Shaver Recreation Center in Seneca offers two excellent 18-hole layouts.
Original Course: A mix of rolling hills and shaded wooded fairways, this course offers a classic disc golf experience that’s friendly to most players.

How to get there: Park at the far end of the Sertoma Field parking lot. The disc golf course is behind the ball fields and requires walking across a footbridge to access the course.
