Oconee County Chamber of Commerce

In 2017, individual chambers of commerce in Seneca, Walhalla & Westminster combined to form the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.

Vanessa Penton is Director of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.

Even though it is now one chamber, there are offices in each municipality.

  • SENECA office is located at 2 Leas Courtyard Drive (Debbie Meinert, Office Administrator)
  • WESTMINSTER office is located in the Westminster Depot (Sandra Powell, Office Administrator)
  • WALHALLA office is located at 105 W. South Broad Street (Martha Miller, Administrative Assistant)

There are 15 individuals on the Chamber Board of Directors.  Oconee County Chamber of Commerce also has an Advisory Council, which includes past Board of Directors who want to stay engaged with the Chamber.  They volunteer their time because they want their towns to succeed!

Why should businesses join the Oconee Chamber of Commerce?

Palmetto Trail Partner

The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, along with Walhalla Partners for Progress, were instrumental in working with Palmetto Conservation Foundation to bring the Palmetto Trail to the area.  Several miles of hiking and biking trails opened at Stumphouse Tunnel Park in 2018.  Additional phases of trail building are underway and will open in 2019.
