Chickasaw Point is in Westminster, SC four miles from I-85. The gated community has been in existence for over fifty years. In 2019, the Chickasaw Property Owners Association began a major capital campaign and raised money to update the clubhouse and better maintain the golf course greens. The association also received generous furnishing donations from community members and volunteers. Covid waylaid construction, but in the fall of 2022, the beautiful new clubhouse was completed. The clubhouse is named The Overlook at Chickasaw Point. The two-story building has stairs and an elevator, and houses a restaurant, a bar, an event space and an activity room.
The Chickasaw Point residential community is tight-knit; but they welcome and encourage non-residents to eat, drink, play and enjoy their public amenities!
The 18-hole, par-72 public course has a unique layout and a picturesque setting. There are 45 golf carts and the property is ideal for private golf tournaments. The Pro Shop offers club repair and re-gripping services along with golf accessories and clothing. A robust group of resident volunteers keep with the greens. Rack Rates can be found here.
