Lower Whitewater Falls

A dramatic 200 ft. drop, these falls are the highest in eastern America. The Lower Falls (in South Carolina) is about half-mile down the Whitewater River from the Upper Falls (in North Carolina). Lunney Museum

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Lunney Museum was built in 1909 by its original residents Dr. William James and Lillian Mason Lunney. The House is a 1909 Queen Anne style “California” bungalow with arts and crafts interior. The property features a carriage house and “two-seater” outhouse. The museum provides educational content focused on the history of Seneca, the Lunney Family/Home, and rural southern culture. THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Magnolia Manor Inn & Events

Lovely ceremony and reception locations are available indoors and outdoors. Choose from the library, parlor or dining rooms of the 1897 Manor House, at the arbor in the garden, in the courtyard near the vintage Carriage House, on the covered patio with overlook, in the meadow near the pond, in the adjacent reception hall, or in the chapel area.

This mural was commissioned by the owner of Sunni Ann Rustic Shop in Walhalla. It is painted on the side of her retail store and is expected to have a space in front of the mural where people can sit, relax and take photos.
