Walhalla

Walhalla is the county seat of Oconee County. The town was founded in the 1850s by the German Settlement Society. It is rich in culture and history. Today the town is undergoing a resurgence with many new businesses and ones soon to open. Walhalla is set to become the terminus of the mountains-to-sea Palmetto Trail. The City of Walhalla maintains Stumphouse Park.
