We’re a pet loving place!
Dogs are welcome at most of our outdoor sites including: hiking trails, county parks and state parks.
Please observe posted leash laws and pick up after your pet.
Note: Not all festivals nor outdoor events are dog friendly.
One event in particular–Jazz on the Alley–does not allow dogs during the event.
Below you’ll find places and restaurants where patrons are encouraged to bring their dogs.
Puerto Nuevo
Mexican restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Sole Grill & Sushi Bar
Open for dinner Monday – Saturday 4-10PM (closed Sunday). Sushi, craft cocktails, tapas, salads, sandwiches and items from the grill.
Steph’s Steaks
Restaurant on Main Street featuring Philly cheesesteaks, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and salads too. Open Monday-Wednesday for lunch; Thursday-Saturday open for lunch and dinner. They have some outside tables and are dog friendly.
The Farmhouse Coffee Exchange
Casual cozy coffee shop in Applewood Shopping Center. Open Monday – Saturday.
The Gauge Coffeehouse
Serving coffee, espresso, homemade muffins, bagles, biscuits and homemade ice cream. The bagels are made out of pizza dough from their sister restaurant Humble Pie–they’re especially delicious! (The Chattooga Whitewater Shop and retail store are located in the same building.)

Offering fast casual food and drinks in an open air, relaxed environment, The Grill at Clemson Marina is the answer to many boaters’ requests for food accessible by boat on the Clemson end of Lake Hartwell. Open Friday-Sunday for lunch and dinner.
The Spot on the Alley
Located on Ram Cat Alley. Serving burgers, sandwiches, pub food and alcoholic beverages. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Tipsy Taco Clemson
Fun, laid-back vibe specializing in made-from-scratch Tex-Mex favorites like street tacos, tamales, fajitas and much more. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Traditions on the Lake
Restaurant located inside Lakeside Lodge Clemson. Traditions on the Lake offers classic American cuisine including burgers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Open Tuesday – Sunday for lunch and dinner; brunch served Saturday and Sunday (closed Monday.)
W.P. Anderson Park

The park is near the Westminster Library. It features a playground, public restrooms and two covered picnic shelters. The Pavilion Shelter has picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a charcoal grill. Rental Fee: $35 for 3 hour rental. The Picnic Shelter is a covered picnic area with tables. Rental Fee: $25 for 3 hour rental.
