We’re a pet loving place!

Dogs are welcome at most of our outdoor sites including: hiking trails, county parks and state parks.
Please observe posted leash laws and pick up after your pet.

Note: Not all festivals nor outdoor events are dog friendly.
One event in particular–Jazz on the Alley–does not allow dogs during the event.

Below you’ll find places and restaurants where patrons are encouraged to bring their dogs.

Sole Grill & Sushi Bar

Open for dinner Monday – Saturday 4-10PM (closed Sunday). Sushi, craft cocktails, tapas, salads, sandwiches and items from the grill.

Steph’s Steaks

Restaurant on Main Street featuring Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. They were a popular vendor at the annual Oktoberfest and decided to go brick and mortar. Open Monday-Saturday. They have some outside tables and are dog friendly.

The Gauge Coffeehouse

Serving coffee, espresso, homemade muffins, bagles, biscuits and homemade ice cream. The bagels are made out of pizza dough from their sister restaurant Humble Pie–they’re especially delicious! (The Chattooga Whitewater Shop and retail store are located in the same building.)

Restaurant located inside Lakeside Lodge Clemson. Traditions on the Lake offers classic American cuisine including burgers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Open: Tuesday – Sunday for lunch and dinner (closed Monday.)

The park is near the Westminster Library. It features a playground, public restrooms and two covered picnic shelters. The Pavilion Shelter has picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a charcoal grill. Rental Fee: $35 for 3 hour rental. The Picnic Shelter is a covered picnic area with tables. Rental Fee: $25 for 3 hour rental.
