Ramsey Creek Falls

Beautiful 40ft. cascade over large boulders where Ramsey Creek and Chauga River meet. The falls is located inside Chau Ram County Park where a $3 parking fee applies. Lower parking lot provides roadside viewing. Good wading pond at foot of falls. Excellent swimming just a short, easy walk from the falls on well-marked and partially paved trail. Sole Grill & Sushi Bar

Open for dinner Monday – Saturday 4-10PM (closed Sunday). Sushi, craft cocktails, tapas, salads, sandwiches and items from the grill.

Stumphouse Park

The Park includes: Stumphouse Tunnel, Issaqueena Falls, the Stumphouse Passage of the Palmetto Trail, Stumphouse Mountain Bike Park and Blue Ridge Railroad hiking trail. Picnic tables, rental event pavilion, portable restrooms. There is a park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle/$10 per bus. (Annual passes may be purchased online or in person from the City of Walhalla.)

Stumphouse Tunnel

Located within Stumphouse Park ($5 entry fee per vehicle). The Stumphouse Mountain Tunnel was part of the Blue Ridge Railroad project, an 1850s attempt to link the port of Charleston to the cities of the Midwest by rail. The Civil War and subsequent collapse of the state’s economy brought construction to an end and the tunnel was never completed. Family-friendly 1/4 mile walk into the tunnel (flashlight recommended), park picnic shelter and outdoor bathrooms nearby.

The Escape Quest

This Escape room is located inside The Farmhouse Coffee Exchange in Dogwood Plaza. Escape themes: “Sherlock’s Recruits”, “Wild West with a Twist” and a third offering changes seasonally. Thursday is College Night where students save $10. Online bookings preferred. Hours Wednesday – Sunday 12pm – 9pm (Monday-Tuesday by appointment.)

The Overlook Restaurant & Bar

Located within the Chickasaw Point community, The Overlook Restaurant and Bar are open to the public for lunch and dinner. Hours: Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-9pm. Indoor seating as well as a large open-air deck and a covered deck overlooking the golf course. Event space is also available to rent for weddings, parties, meetings and special occasions. If you haven’t thrown before, don’t worry, the Timber Ridge Axeperts are trained to coach newbie axe throwers the proper technique to make sure anyone can bury an axe in their targets.
