Four falls ranging from 20ft. to 40ft. The trails have been updated and are more accessible. New steps along the trail have been added along with several viewing platforms. The left trail to the upper falls has a family friendly short hike with bridge over the creek. Good swimming holes at both ends of the trail. Brasstown Creek BBQ is a great place to eat Fri. or Sat. 4-9pm (cash only).

Bull Sluice is a Class Five rapid on Section III of the Chattooga River. This is a popular place to view rafting trips running the rapid. It’s a short .2 mile hike from the Hwy 76 Chattooga River Access parking lot. Follow the trail downhill to where it forks, and go right along the gravel trail to reach a viewing area. Depending on your mobility level, you can walk on huge rocks on the side of the river to get a better view. (The left fork takes you to a beach downstream of the rapid.)
Chattooga Belle Farm is a 200 acre working farm and event venue. The event barn is the ideal location for weddings, family reunions, and corporate retreats or any special occasion that calls for a setting like no other. Belle’s Bistro restaurant serves lunch. Farm Store sells food & gifts. On site Distillery makes small batch spirits.

15.5 mile trail that runs parallel to the famous Chattooga River, and shares 8.5 miles with the Foothills Trail. It passes through some of the finest wilderness in South Carolina. The northern terminus of the Chattooga Trail is Ellicott Rock, where Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina meet. Waterfall lovers shouldn’t miss this trail, since you can see King Creek, Spoonauger, Big Bend, Pigpen and Licklog Falls at points along the trail.

This little known 575-acre lake in the mountainous region of Oconee County is fed by the Chattooga and Tallulah Rivers. Backed up by the Tugalo dam, the lake is a peaceful spot to paddle and a great place for fishermen. Motorboat access to the lake is restricted to motors below 20 hp, ensuring a peaceful outing. Several small waterfalls tumble into this scenic lake, which is surrounded by the forest covered foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

There is PLENTY of additional room for extra blowup mattresses. No electricity or water – absolutely NO open flame inside the tent. Just minutes away from the famous Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery. A 50-foot waterfall on its namesake creek just before it flows into the Chattooga River. The 1.6 mile unofficial trail is moderately difficult and not well-marked. Paddlers and rafters going down the Chattooga River can view this waterfall from the water.
An ideal location for people coming to play on the Chattooga River, go mountain biking at Stumphouse Park, hike to area waterfalls, attend weddings and events at Chattooga Belle Farm, or any time you need a place to stay in Long Creek. Moresun Bunkhouse was recently renovated, has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people.
Wildwater offers a variety of lodging options at their Chattooga River location. Among the choices are four cabins that sleep up to six people, with two comfortable bedrooms and two baths. There’s also the Goldfinch Treehouse. This cozy one-bedroom, one-bath space includes a kitchenette and a private outdoor deck–perfect for couples.

Chattooga Belle Farm is a 190 acre u-pick fruit farm, with event barn, Belle’s Bistro serving lunch 11-2, and distillery on premises.
Serving coffee, espresso, homemade muffins, bagles, biscuits and homemade ice cream. The bagels are made out of pizza dough from their sister restaurant Humble Pie–they’re especially delicious! (The Chattooga Whitewater Shop and retail store are located in the same building.)
