Oberlin Faith Cabin Library

The Faith Cabin Libraries movement occurred in the 1930s and 40s as a way to disseminate reading materials to African-Americans in South Carolina and Georgia. 30 libraries were built by local residents and the Oberlin Faith Cabin Library is the only building that still exists on the Seneca Junior College campus. The cabin is undergoing restoration by the City of Seneca.
